I was delighted to stumble across this event on Facebook this afternoon, especially as I believe it will only run for 2-3 days. It’s a Projection/ installation, celebrating the winter solstice, by the artist, animator and film maker Ronan Coyle, using that lovely circular window on the old Kiosk by Leeson Street bridge, now a small cafe and one of my very favourite small Dublin buildings. Looks like a really apt and beautiful idea. Starts from tomorrow, Sunday 20th December. Go along and have a look if you’re in the area, once the sky darkens and the things lights up, it should be very beautiful.

Thanks for RT Jane. Love the look of this. Can’t wait to see it in the flesh.

I like to see celebrations of what is, not what might be to a handful of believers.

Many thanks Fata. Yes, I agree, the kiosk is lovely. It has one of the hallmarks of a great building: every time we see it, it makes us smile!
kind regards -Arran.
